PARTNERSHIP PACKAGES
FAQ
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO SPONSOR A RECYCLER?
We refer to the recycling containers that hold donated cans and bottles in as 'recyclers.' These recyclers are always in well-populated, highly visible locations, and in return for being a sponsor, we give you the extra space on the recycler as an advertising opportunity for your business.
WHY DOES S4S NEED PARTNERS?
One of Sustainability for Scholarships' money-earning techniques for our scholarships is hosting local events, such as a 5K run and Earth Day Festivals, as well as using sponsored recyclers to collect cans at local festivals. The revenue generated from these events directly benefits our scholarship fund. Without our sponsors, we could not afford to put on local events.
WHERE ARE OUR SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED?
Our scholarships are awarded to veterans or veteran dependents that attend Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY or Nazareth College in Rochester, NY.
Depending on our success, we can award more than one scholarship every year.
HOW MUCH DOES A RECYCLER COST?
A recycler has a cost of $500 per year, with discounts being offered to businesses and organizations who sponsor multiple recyclers.
